Ok so after a long time last night I started watching back the livestream from Jazz at Lincoln Center, while drawing the singer and musicians on my iPad. Little out of practice as my laptop is out of it, so watched on my phone but I like how this quick sketch came out on my iPad using #procreateapp . Maybe I’ll get invited to the next #kaaboocayman . Wouldn’t it be cool if in the art section there is a tv screen that is linked via WiFi to my posts and I just randomly walk around events ground capturing scenes of people such as performers, audience etc. How can I submit such a proposal @kaaboocayman #jazzatlincolncenter #diannereeves #jazz #digitalart #ipadart #ipadartists #digitalartist #simonescottartist #peoplewatchingart

Ms Albertha home cistern in The Rock has been getting a year long makeover. Her daughter Ms Carla commissioned me to paint it with a beach scene with certain details. Cayman Brac past Year 6 students from both primary schools designed artwork to put on this cistern and then some of students started the project by cleaning off the cistern sides to be painted. The walls were then primed but due to other projects I have, nothing happened for half a year. The beginning of this year I began working on the cistern to bring to life the students drawings so that the finish piece will have a bit of each student artwork. I get to paint the cistern a day here and there whenever Mr Conroy can hold on for me at Caymans’ AiR to man his exhibition @bracautumnfestival . One of the past year 6 students Dimitri is Ms Albertha’s grandson and he helped paint some during school break. What do you do while waiting for the plane? I tend to observe people and draw them.
